Pork Meatball Ingredients

  • 1 pound Galaxy Farms ground pork
  • 1 cup fine chopped spinach
  • 2/3 cups diced onion
  • One clove garlic
  • 1-3 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/3 cup plain bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 3-4 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp ground black pepper, or any  type pepper

 

Apple Chutney Ingredients

  • 2 c chopped apple
  • 1/4 c red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 1 tbsp ginger root
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 c chopped onion

 

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients for meatballs except for the flour and 2 1/2 tbsp pepper and mix.
  2. Mix the remaining pepper and flour together on a plate.
  3. Now, make 16 meatballs and coat them in the flour and pepper mix.
  4. In a non-stick skillet, cook meatballs til done (160 °F), flip as needed to not burn.
  5. Then, in a small sauce pan combine chutney ingredients and simmer to desired consistency.  Stir as needed.
  6. You want the apples to hold their shape.
  7. Top meatballs with chutney and enjoy.  Try the chutney on pork loin and pork chops.
