Ingredients
- 2-3 apples, 2 cups rough chopped, with skin
- 4 tsp brown sugar
- 4 tsp margarine or butter
- 1 1/2 oz dark spiced rum
- *Caution if using high alcohol liquor, 80 proof alcohol will flame
- 2 cups Meadows frozen vanilla custard, or any brand & flavor desired
Instructions
- Using a non-stick skillet melt the butter and brown sugar.
- Then add in the chopped apples stirring occasionally. As they begin to soften (1-2 minutes) add the rum.
- Continue to heat to cook off the alcohol. Serve one quarter of the apples over 1/2 cup frozen custard.
- Feel free to add vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, etc., nuts, or dried fruits with the apples.
